Facts and figures obtained from the Texarkana College Admissions

The numbers show 3,870 students enrolled for classes this spring semester, according to the Office of Admissions.
Texarkana College continues to expand, with growth of 4.4 percent in just one year from the 2009 numbers.
"A special thank you from the Office of Admissions to all of the students who endured registration the first two days of normal registration because we had a major computer outage
that we found out about Sunday, and the computer was down all day Monday and even though it was up on Tuesday it took us all day to get caught up in the middle," Admissions Director Tom Elder said.
During the last five years, spring enrollment numbers have increased by 11.21 percent.
"We are just very proud staying in the programs at Texarkana College," Elder said.
Elder said due to having to register manually the average wait time was three hours.
"I mean every single thing was by hand and we just wanted to put out a special thank you from the entire Admissions Office Staff," Elder said. Elder also said the students were very cooperative. "And we made very few mistakes after all was said and done."
