Deadline to apply for the Southern Arkansas University Scholarship is June 1. Requirements for applicants are: must be transferring from a two-year college, 48 transferable hours (majority from two-year schools), and a 3.0 cumulative grade point average on all work attempted.
"It would be best to get your application in as soon as possible so the Counseling Center can send it off as soon as possible," Director of Counseling Georgia McFaul said.
Required documents that must be attached to all applications include up-to-date transcripts from all colleges attended. Final transcripts should be sent when the current semester is completed. Also please attach an application for admission if one is not on file with SAU.
Applications may be picked up and turned in at the Administration Building in the Counseling Center.
