Texarkana Repertory Theatre Company is celebrating its 20th anniversary.

"From the beginning I'm very proud," director Michael Cooper said. "For theatre to survive in the community for 20 years speaks very well for the company, especially in these economic times."

This season TexRep will be reprising shows from the past.

"All of the shows were very successful," Cooper said. "People asked us to do them again, so it should be fun."

The season includes the musical "Grease", "Steel Magnolias", "The Foreigner" and the musical "Nunsense."

"I think it's fantastic," Cooper said.

"We are getting to do things that we didn't think we would because they'd already been done before, and that's always exciting," theatre major Maegan Cokeley said.
