There were more than one winner at Saturday’s, 3rd annual Strike Out Cancer game versus Trinity Valley Community College. Each team decked from head to toe in pink, played for a cure. The Texarkana College Bulldogs alone raised $1,656. Surpassing the teams first year by $550, and the second by $800, the team will present the check to the American Cancer Society 12:30 pm Friday. In the near future Texarkana College and Christus Saint Michael might have a partnership for the health and fitness of the community, students and faculty. TC is looking to merge the fitness side and wellness side together, TC President Dr. Alan Rasco said. Cusimano and Associates, a survey firm from San Antonio, Texas,  has been hired to survey both facilities.

A&M's big move will bring change to Palmer Memorial Library

Changes are coming to the Palmer Memorial Library located on the Texarkana College campus when A&M moves out of TC to their new campus, located near Bringle Lake, this summer. "We are making a decision now to decide if we are going to partner on part of the library or if we are just going to go out on our own and have our own TC library," Texarkana College President Dr. Alan Rasco said.

College responds to SACS investigation

Texarkana College President Dr. Alan Rasco has until Monday to respond to an official complaint filed with SACS concerning the actions of Board member Molly Beth Malcolm.
SACS, the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools, is the accreditation agency for colleges and schools in 11 states, including Texas.

TC News amasses 25 awards at TIPA convention

 Texarkana College’s student newspaper, the TC News, won 25 awards during the Texas Intercollegiate Press Association annual convention held at the Inn of the Hills Resort in Kerrville on March 25-27.
